自分自身が、異なる環境や価値観との関係性によって形成されてきたという経験を起点に、存在の輪郭の可変性を主題に制作を行ってきました。

現在は、外部の影響で内部が規定されると同時に、いまや外部が一つでないからこそ生まれる矛盾や不協和が内部に生じている状態に関心があります。

何かしらの方法で矛盾を解消(もしくは排除)し、周縁を作ることで内部を統一して前に進むが善しとされる社会の中で、矛盾を抱えたまま共に在るためには、一方を排除する方法以外を模索する必要があると考えており、この不協和の共存がいかに可能か？という問いについて、身の回りの風景を解体し、繰り返し、ズレながら平面そして空間へと再構成する手法を探求しています。

Graduated from Kyoto City University of Arts in 2021 with a degree in oil painting.

My practice explores the shifting contours of existence, beginning with my own experience of being shaped through relationships with different environments and systems of values.

I am currently interested in how our inner worlds are shaped by external influences, while also becoming sites of contradiction and dissonance precisely because there is no longer a single, unified outside. In a society that tends to resolve—or eliminate—contradictions in order to unify the inside by defining its boundaries and excluding what lies beyond them, I believe we need to seek ways of coexisting with contradictions without eliminating one side.

Through this inquiry into how such dissonance might coexist, I explore ways of dismantling familiar landscapes, repeating and displacing their elements, and reconfiguring them across two-dimensional surfaces and into space.
